Terms of Use

1. Agreement and eligibility

By using the services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. The services are not directed to children under 13, and users under the age of legal majority may use them only with permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Product status

Woods Intelligence provides software tools, calculations, text analysis, export utilities, and automation files. Features may change, contain errors, or be unavailable. Labels such as “validation,” “report,” or “continuity issue” describe software checks—not certification, professional approval, or a guarantee of correctness.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your inputs, decisions, equipment, procedures, files, backups, exports, and compliance with every contract, law, code, standard, license, employer rule, and site requirement that applies to your work. You must own or have permission to process every manuscript, image, asset, and other file you use.

4. Prohibited use

Do not use the services to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass safety controls, expose confidential information without authorization, or make an automated decision that legally requires qualified human review. Do not represent Pad Buddy output as an engineered, approved, or code-certified plan.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Woods Intelligence only the limited rights necessary to store, transmit, and process content when you request cloud features. Woods Intelligence does not claim ownership of your manuscripts, job records, or scene specifications.

6. Service content and license

The service design, software, documentation, branding, and original content remain the property of Woods Intelligence or their respective licensors. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the hosted service for lawful personal or business purposes. Third-party standards, Blender, imported assets, and other third-party materials remain governed by their own licenses.

7. Feedback and output

You may use and modify files the service generates for you, subject to rights in your inputs and third-party materials. If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow Woods Intelligence to use it without a payment obligation. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on, publishing, distributing, or executing it.

8. Typed attestations and records

A typed name, timestamp, checklist, or “signed” status records what a user entered in the product. It does not prove identity, authority, professional qualification, informed consent, nonrepudiation, or compliance with an employer, customer, contractual, regulatory, or legal signature requirement. You are responsible for using any separately required controlled signature, approval, quality, or records system.

9. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Woods Intelligence and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits or data; project delay; property damage; personal injury; or decisions made from software output. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the claim; for free services, that amount is zero or the minimum allowed by law. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Woods Intelligence and its operator from claims arising from your unlawful use, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your use of output without required professional review.

12. Copyright and reports

If you believe material on the service infringes your rights, send a detailed notice to the contact address below identifying the work, the material, its location, your contact information, and your good-faith basis. Knowingly false notices may create liability.

13. Suspension and changes

Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, infrastructure, legal rights, or safety. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Safety Disclaimer are the complete agreement for the hosted service unless a separate signed agreement applies.
